  1. Andrew Meyers ISAS Structure ISAS January 2014 Salt Lake City, UT

  2. ISAS Structure • WECC Bifurcation has provided opportunity to look at Committee/Subcommittee/Work Group structure • OC challenged Subcommittees to look at structure • August 2013 Meeting • Members expressed interest to leave Work Group structure unchanged • Agreed to revisit at January 2014 meeting after Bifurcation became effective

  3. ISAS Structure • Current Structure – 5 Work Groups • ATFWG – After the Fact Work Group • RTWG – Real Time Work Group • IWG – Interchange Work Group • EIWG – eTag Issue Work Group • ESWG – Electronic Scheduling Work Group

  4. ISAS Structure • Option 1: Proposed Subcommittee Re-Structure (3 Work Groups) • ATFWG – Sheryl Welsch • IWG – Danielle Johnson • Consolidate RTWG & EIWG with IWG • ESWG – Raymond Vojdani • Consolidated WG’s can be reconstituted if a need arises in the future. • Chairs of RTWG and EIWG are supportive of the consolidation.

  5. ISAS Structure • Option 2 • Restructure ISAS to absorb all work groups. • Issues discussed in WG meetings would be presented at ISAS meetings. • ISAS Meeting would likely remain a day and a half with longer in depth discussions on issues currently handled by WG’s • ISAS Charter Reworked • Need ability to create Taskforces to tackle issues as they arise
