  3. Why use Articulate? • Actively involved in the learning process • Compared to passively involved • Can be used in Online, hybrid, or face-to-face courses • Flipped classroom • Formative assessment questions • Instant feedback • Ability to demonstrate knowledge immediately

  4. Why use Articulate? • Access presentations 24/7 • Self-paced • Only advance when ready • Easy to update • Simply open the PPT and make changes • Engaging!

  5. Let’s Give it a Try! • Open presenter and then open your PPT • Save your presentation

  6. Record Narration • Click the Articulate tab • Click Record Narration • When ready, click Start Narration • When finished, click Stop Narration • Click Save and Exit • Records to each PPT slide

  7. Add Annotations • Click the Articulate tab • Click Add Annotations • Select annotation tool (e.g. checkmark) • When ready, click Start Annotation • When finished, click Stop Annotation • Click Save and Exit • Records to each PPT slide

  8. Engage Interaction • Media-rich interactions • Click Engage Interaction • Click Create New • Select the Checklist interaction and create a title • Create a checklist

  9. Engage Interaction • Click Engage Interaction • Click Create New • Select any interaction and create a title • Create your interaction • Click Save and Return when finished

  10. Quizmaker • Add 25 different types of assessment questions • Click Quizmaker Quiz • Click Create New • Create quiz title • Click Graded Question • Select True or False • Create multiple choice question

  11. Slide Properties • Navigation settings (automatically advance or by user) • Add notes or glossary slides

  12. Preview Presentation • Preview your presentation • Select slide range

  13. Publish Your Presentation • Publish for viewing • Select destination • Select for iPads and HTML 5

  14. Hosting Presentations • Canvas as zip file • Dropbox in Public folder • Google Drive (newest option)
