  4. Biography Johnny Cash was one of the most influential singer, songwriter, and guitarists in American history. Johnny was one of seven children. Encouraged by his mother to take guitar and singing lessons. He joined the U.S. air force at he age of 18. Sold two million copies of “ I walk the line.” On tour 300 nights out of the year. Married June Carter in 1968. Had “The Johnny Cash Show” in 1969. Died 2003.
