BRIDGING THE GLOBAL GENDER GAP HOW? • Gov’t & Business - Provide support systems enabling both women and men to work – e.g. childcare, adjusting school hours to work hours. • Gov’t & Business - Planning infrastructure & transportation to suite women’s mobility - public transportation, ICT, allocation of industrial zones, flexibility at work places, working from home • Gov’t - Remove discriminatory structures – participation in political and business sphere, taxation, the right to own property & wealth etc.

  8. BRIDGING THE GLOBAL GENDER GAP HOW? • Family - Access to paid work & more equal division of unpaid work • Family - Recognize how social and family life can play a disruptive and constructive role – family/career, production/reproduction, quality of life etc.
