NEED FOR THIS STUDY • SEMINAL STUDY • Provide Information to the Association as to the status of the membership and the profession • Provide a number of Benchmarks • Collect data regarding current Salaries of Property Professionals: • To Baseline Salaries & as a • Reference for all Property Professionals

SURVEY METHODOLOGY • Survey Design • Elizabeth Sprecher – Catalyst and the original designer of the Survey Instrument • We owe her our thanks • Content Validity of the Instrument • Reviewed by the NPMA Executive board • Numerous Changes were made to clarify the questions, job headings, and to “fit’ the survey instrument

  4. SURVEY POPULATION AND METHODOLOGY • The population for this study consisted of ALL NPMA members as of 1 July 2005 • Therefore N=3819 • Survey Distribution was accomplished through a MAIL SURVEY with an optical scan form enclosed • with an NPMA addressed envelope

  5. SURVEY RESPONSES • Survey Response Rate • 103 Mailings were returned as “undeliverable” thereby reducing our N to 3716 • 1062 Usable surveys were received by the cut-off date of July 27th. • Response Rate of 29%

  6. ANONYMITY • ALL RESPONSES ARE ANNONYMOUS AND WILL NOT BE RELEASED – Even the RAW data, to maintain this anonymity.

  33. CONCLUSIONS • A very successful survey • Provides the Association Leadership and its membership some much needed data • Provides a snapshot in time of the membership • Provides and will provide the member with a baseline to compare his/her salary.
