Project Objectives • Update 2 Masters’ Programs: Adult Health Nursing and Community Health Nursing. • Establish A new Master Program; Maternal Health Nursing. • Build Teaching Capabilities of Faculty Members • Disseminate Learning Experiences to Faculties of Nursing across Jordan and the Region.

  3. Overall Achievement Objectives 1 and 2 • Modifying: 3 Core Courses 2 Specialty Courses, AHN 2 Specialty Courses, CHN • Development of Thesis Guidelines • Development of Guidelines for the Clinical Project • Development of Objectives and Macro-curriculum for the MHN Masters’ Program

  4. Overall Achievement Objectives 1 & 2; Current and Future Plan • Review and Update Specialty Courses in MHN • Review and Update 6 Elective Courses

  5. Overall Achievement Objectives 3; Building Teaching Capacity • Exchange Visits: 4 Faculties from JUST to EU 4 Faculties from EU to JUST The Focus of JUST Teaching Capabilities Clinical Competencies Participation in Teaching • Workshops 2 Workshops, Designed and Implemented by EU

  6. Overall Achievement Objective 3; Current and Future Plan • 4 Faculties From JUST to EU, for, Teaching Capabilities Clinical Competencies Review 4 Courses in MHN • 2 Clinical Teachers from JUST to EU Clinical Teaching and Evaluation Clinical Nursing Skills

  7. Overall Achievement Objective 4, Dissemination • Nursing National Tempus Day, Dec. 9, 2004 • Nursing National Tempus Day, Nov. 2005 • International Conference with JNC, April, 2006

  8. Overall Achievement Equipment • Video-Conference Room Infrastructure is Almost Complete The equipment are Purchased and about to be Installed • Nursing Computer Lab A shared Effort; JUST and Tempus May be open for students by May, 2005 • Teaching Facilities, have been ordered

  9. Overall Achievement Sustainability • Limited Turnover • Establishment of Committees to maintain the achievement, Including Quality Improvement and monitoring Standardization and Layout Evaluation committee

  10. Project Evaluation(Informal) Positive Points • Willingness to Cooperate • Exposure of Participants to Different Culture • Chance to Revise and Critique our Work Negative Points • Problems in Communications The Evaluation Committee is Currently Working on Developing A scientific, Formal Evaluation Method
