Dr. Huang is a world-renowned boarded endodontist, specializing in the regeneration of bone using dental pulp. • Dr. Yanhui Zhang, PhD is a new assistant professor in the Department of Bioscience Research, currently conducting product tests for plaque glycolysis and regrowth, and saliva biomarkers • Dr. Chris Ivanoff, DDS is a new associate professor in the Department of Bioscience Research, specializing in alternate current electrokinetics and dielectrophoretic drug transport in dentistry. • .   27. The Clinical Research Center, located on the 3rd floor of the Dental Building, will be used for industry-sponsored clinical trials. There are already three clinical studies being conducted in the center. TheClinical Research Center

Future Plans • Short-Term Goals (FY2013) • Complete dental school laboratory (Bioscience Research Center) and Clinical Research Center. • Long-Term Goals (FY2013-FY2023) • Develop the plaque glycolysis, demineralization/remineralization and dental erosion laboratory capabilities in the newly developed lab to increase industrial funding. • Increase clinical research projects and funding in the newly developed Clinical Research Center.
