  2. How it started The religion Baha’ism started in 1844 in the 19th century and was founded by Mirza Hoseyn 'Ali. They believe in one God. Bahus son died in 1892. Baha’ism says that God’s essence unknowable, but human knowledge of God can learn through God's messengers or manifestations. Baha’is believe that although we may have different ideas of God and call Him by different names – Allah or Yahweh, God or Brahma, we are all speaking about the same Being.

  4. What they do Followers of Baha’ism fast for 19 days before their new year which is called NawRuz. The Nineteen Day Fast was created by Baha’u’llah. He stated that if capable, Baha’is between the ages of 15 and 70 should fast 19 days a year, going without food or drink from sunrise to sunset. Their new year is on 21st of March each year. NawRuz is an ancient New Year’s Day festival this festival occurs before sunset. Rivdan is the most important festival for followers Baha’ism. This festival lasts for 12 days during which all the Baha’is around the world will celebrate their leader Baha’u’llah. . "Ridván" means "Paradise", from which we can gather something of what the atmosphere must have felt like during that 12-day period that their leader spent preparing for a journey in the Rivdan Gardens.

  5. Their god and beliefs Baha’u’llah is the messenger of God, he was born in 1817 and he died in 1892 Bahaullah said in the earth we are one and kind citizens the most holly book in the Baha’i religion is the Kitab-i-Aqdas.
