  4. Project Accomplishments • Drafted PMP • Identified IV & V Vendor • Negotiated draft IV & V Contract • Submitted IV & V Contract to DoIT for review • Held discovery meeting with DoIT (12/7/2007) • Defined Governance Structure • Identified Steering Committee

  5. Discovery with DoIT • Met with DoIT on Friday December 7 to discuss NMCD’s proposed video network architecture • Discussed Qwest QMOE vs. Qwest DS3 technology • Discussed current and future Qwest QMOE locations • Awaiting final pricing from DoIT for QMOE solution including MPLS layer costs

  6. IV & V Vendor Identified and Contract negotiated. Currently in review at DoIT • Working with the State Agency and its Project vendor(s) to define and obtain agreement on Project deliverables and expectations. • Finding key areas that pose risk to the Project and recommending mitigation strategies to reduce those risks. • Leveraging experienced resources who know where to focus to perform targeted reviews of Project deliverables and practices. • Monitoring the progress of the Project. • Maintaining a project-wide focus on critical issues, milestones and objectives. • Documenting and delivering clear, factual analyses of Project deliverables and actual practices.

  7. Project Risk • Currently Project has not identified any risks that are showstoppers requiring Steering Committee activity. As of December 13, 2007
