  2. QUÈ ÉS UN DIFTONG? • Un diftong és quan en una mateixa síl·laba hi ha dues vocals que es pronuncien juntes. • Sempre hi haurà una vocal feble ( i/u) i una altra vocal.

  3. Diftongs decreixents: • En diem decreixents perquè la vocal forta va al davant. • En general direm : • vocal + i • vocal + u • ai, ei, ii, oi, ui • au, eu, iu, ou, uu.

  4. Exemples: (us en poso un, en sabeu trobar més?) • ai: aire • ei: reina • oi: boira • ui: cuina • au: pau • eu: peu • iu: ciutat • ou: coure • uu: duu

  5. Diftongs creixents • En aquest cas la vocal forta ( a, e, o) va al darrere ( també hi podeu afegir més exemples, us atreviu?) • qua: quatre • qüe: qüestió • qüi: ubiqüitat • quo: quota • gua: guant • güe: paraigües • güi: pingüí • guo: aiguota

  6. Diftongs creixents • Els grups ia, ie, iu, ua, ue, uo quan van : • al començament de paraula ( ioga) • precedits per la lletra h ( hiena) • després de vocal ( seuen) • COMPTE: Si al davant té una consonant, cal SEPARAR-HO! ( no fa diftong) SU-AR

  7. Hiats • Quan dues vocals seguides es pronuncien en síl·labes diferents , formen un hiat. • Teatre: te- a – tre • País : pa- ís
