  3. Location, Location, Location • Magazines • Colorado Outdoors, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated, Dig, Cobblestone, Odyssey, Boys Life, Girls Life • NonFiction • Upstairs • Fiction • Downstairs, under the READ posters • Displays upstairs

  4. Book Checkout • You MUST have your ID card to checkout • Exception….renewing a book • You may have 2 books checked out • Books are checked out for 2 weeks • You may RENEW twice….IF you have the book physically with you • Magazines you may sign out for a week.

  5. Fiction F KIN F MEY • Alphabetized by Author (first three letters of the author’s last name) • Genre Labels

  6. Hours • 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM • Must have a pass/note from teacher/parent for before school • Open during lunch times, unless another class is in the MC

  7. Labs A & B • Absolutely NO FOOD, DRINK, OR CANDY in the Labs. • Must have a Mann Staff Member present to be in the Labs • Strict printing rules…. • Save everything to your U Drive • Use Jump or Flash drives

  8. New Netbooks • Teachers will check out the carts • Students will sign out individual Netbooks from Teacher • You are responsible for the cost if you damage them!!! • Privilege to have…treat them as such

  9. Coaches: • Grade 8: Mrs. Utz • Grade 7: Ms. Jackson • Grade 6: Mr. Woody Display in the middle of the Media Center…. don’t have to be on a BOB team to checkout. They are for ALL Students!

  10. Reading Program for all students and staff members who want to participate. • Win prizes • Get your name on the Winners Board • Cards will be kept in Media Center • Mrs. Domangue or Mrs. Pittenger are the “judges” and will sign off on your card

  11. 1 Bingo = 4 books
