  8. Integrated Circuit Temperature Sensor • Integrated Circuit Temperature Sensor Ada 2 jenis: 1. Seri LM34 : dalam skala Fahrenheit 2. Seri LM35 : dalam skala Celcius • Pada seri LM35 Vout=10 mV/oC Tiap kenaikan 1oC akan menghasilkan kenaikan tegangan output sebesar 10mV

Prinsip kerja IC Temperatur Sensors • Suhu lingkungan di deteksi menggunakan bagian IC yang peka terhadap suhu • Suhu lingkungan ini diubah menjadi tegangan listrik oleh rangkaian di dalam IC, dimana perubahan suhu berbanding lurus dengan perubahan tegangan output. • Pada seri LM35 Vout=10 mV/oC Tiap perubahan 1oC akan menghasilkan perubahan tegangan output sebesar 10mV

Kelebihan dan KelemahanIC Temperatur Sensors Tipe LM35 • Kelebihan: Rentang suhu yang jauh, antara -55 sampai +150 oC Low self-heating, sebesar 0.08 oC Beroperasi pada tegangan 4 sampai 30 V Rangkaian tidak rumit Tidak memerlukan pengkondisian sinyal • Kekurangan: Membutuhkan sumber tegangan untuk beroperasi

  12. Contoh permasalahan • Rancangkan suatu sensor suhu menggunakan IC LM35 yang mengikuti spesifikasi; Interval : 16-360C sumber tegangan : 5 V Output : 0.1V/0C

SMART SOLUTIONS • We know that LM35 has an operating range of -550C to 1500C and suplay voltage range of 4V-30V so there are no problems with range and supplay voltage requirements, • But there are problem at output because the specification also call for 0.1V = 10C, which is ten times greater than LM35 output • So that we can use op-amp to increase output voltage ten times greater. The gain of amplifier can be set to ten times by proper selection of resistors at op-amp
