  1. The Awesome Koh Lanta Islands Koh Lanta is a beautiful island located in the Andaman Sea southwest of Thailand. It can be easily reached by passenger ferry or car from the islands of Phuket, Phi Phi, Trang, and Krabi. It is less commercial than other Thai cities. There are more than ten beaches in Koh Lanta. There are a number of activities possible on Koh Lanta which also makes it a popular holiday destination. One can indulge in scuba diving, snorkeling, canoeing in the mangroves, elephant trekking, cave walking and jungle treks to name a few. The waters on this island are calm so are best suited for learning scuba diving. For tourists wanting to stay on Koh Lanta, numerous options are available. Accommodation is available along the entire west coast of the island. There are options such as luxurious bungalows and exotic resorts available. Some of the famous resorts on this beach are: Royal Lanta Beach Resort and Banana Beach Resort. These resorts offer a perfect getaway. One can relax and enjoy the various facilities provided in the resort. Lanta long beach: This is the longest beach of Koh Lanta. It extends up to Klong Dao beach. This beach has more stones in water compared to Klong Dao. One of the best resorts on this beach is Thai House Beach Resort. This resort offers privacy as it is secluded but has bars, shops, and restaurants at walking distance. Koh Lanta has become a popular tourist destination because:  It is easy to reach and get around.  It has great flora and fauna.  It is cheaper than other Thai islands.  It has exotic beaches  It has an amazing aquatic life.
