  3. WHY I CHOSE IT I chose Christ crucified with Toledo in the Background because it really caught my attention. Also, Jesus being crucified on the cross is a very important event that I study as a Catholic. Finally, it is an excellent representation of the crucifixion.

  5. Why I Chose It I chose the painting Viva La Vida by Frida Kahlo because it is aesthetic. The bright colors really make the painting pop. This painting also brings back great memories of eating watermelon in the summer time. Viva La Vida was also painted by Frida Kahlo, who is a familiar artist to me.

  7. WHY I CHOSE IT I chose Still Life with Bread, Apples, Grapes and a Bottle because it is a very popular type of artwork to paint. Also, I love fruits because of their sweet tastes. Finally, this painting is both simple, yet very creative.
