ERMP Mission The DFAS ERMP will create a proactive and sustained risk culture to include the capacity to identify, prioritize, and respond to the risks challenging DFAS' most critical objective: the ability to provide responsive and efficient accounting and finance services to the men and women in uniform. ERMP Vision DFAS' ERMP is an integrated and embedded element of the Agency's operations, culture, and ethical environment. ERM is institutionalized across the enterprise and is aligned with individual and management responsibilities. ERM forms the basis for measured performance and individual accountability to DFAS' mission. DFAS' ERMP enables business improvement opportunities including system implementations and transformation through continuous improvement leading to predictive capabilities. The aggregation, analysis and presentation of real or near real-time data to better manage risk areas. Business Activity Monitoring allows DFAS to pull together information spread across multiple systems. This AGGREGATION of data makes it easier to see and compare everything impacting business results in a single snapshot. BAM does the comparison and selection analysis displaying only those transactions that bear closer review. Analysis of true potential problems can be conducted quickly and more completely. How many of you are dependent on someone gathering data from several different sources, combining it in an excel spreadsheet or access database, performing manual review and manipulation and having it validated by someone else before it makes its way to you ? How many days does that typically take? Business Activity Monitoring allows DFAS to pull together information spread across multiple systems. This AGGREGATION of data makes it easier to see and compare everything impacting business results in a single snapshot.
