  1. Different Types Of Industrial Lifting Equipment Ratchet Lever Hoists Manual Hoist Scaffold Hoist Machine Moving Skates Lifting Beam Spreader Beam 2T Chain Block

  2. Ratchet Lever Hoists A general ratchet lever hoist is capable of handling large weights because of a short handle. Its compact and portable design makes it optimum to work in confined spaces. A single hand free chain feature allows slack chain positioning. • Important Features of a Ratchet Lever Hoist to Look Upon • Double pawl design to ensure that one load will always be engaged for reliable load control. • Swift rubber grip for an extended safety against slippage. • Forged heavy-duty safety latches for secure load engagement. • Enclosed load brake for positive load positioning.

  3. Manual Hoist • Manual chain hoists is a simple device that is capable of carrying a large amount of weight. They are made of a reliable high-grade steel and handle tons of heavy loads. A typical manual hoist can be categorized into 3 major categories, namely lifting chains, hooks and lifting mechanism. • Chain hoists use a mechanical process to transform a small force of long distance across a large force of short distance. Multiple large and small gears can be used effectively in the mechanism of working of a chain hoist. • When a load is to be lifted, the hoist operator pulls the hand chain down and allows the cog and axle to perform a lifting mechanism.

  4. Scaffold Hoists • In a scaffold hoist design, a hoist can be affixed to a scaffold structure through putlog coupler connection. A basic scaffold hoist is powered by 110v electricity supply and also uses a transformer and leads whenever required. • Robust scaffold hoists contain a swivel beam and can smoothly lift materials upto 30m. For hefty items, a rectangular cage can also be used. It is a compact and lightweight design that can be fitted straight to a standard scaffold tube in such a manner so that it can allow 180° rotation. This ensures a secure loading and unloading by the operator. • The scaffold hoists are operated with a pendant control system comprising a top limit safety stop.

  5. Machine Moving Skates • Machine moving skates, also assumed as sturdy rollers that are designed to move an equipment from one point to another with heavy loads. The cylindrical wheels of these skates are polished with an anti-friction material to allow smooth rolling of heavyweight objects. • The top of the moving skates contains a flat rubberised surface that enables a machinery to settle down safely without sliding off. Lifting shackles can also be used with the machine moving skates to allow firm usage of load by using a chain or rope. • Technically, it can be noticed that the skates should consist more wheels for a heavy load capacity to avoid extensive pressure between the floor and wheels.

  6. Lifting Beam • Lifting beams are the safest choice for handling long material to prevent shifting or sagging. They are also capable of carrying loads where weight needs to be distributed in balance with suspension from several points. • There occurs different varieties of lifting beams that can be commonly used in a lifting practice- • Modular spreader beams • Multi-point lifting beams • Cruciform lifting beams • Modular lifting beams enable assembling of variable lengths with additional modules where multiple lift combinations are used. It ranges from 5 to 800 tonnes.

  7. Spreader Beam • The modular spreader beams are capable of lifting varied-sized loads. They are fabricated in pieces to be assembled in different configurations to suit your specific needs. The spreader beams are adjustable and can be extended via telescope style. This lifting beam design works under compression and allows to spread the load evenly over a long area. • There are two basic types of spreader beams- • Fixed spreader beams • Adjustable spreader beams

  8. 2T Chain Block • 2t chain blocks are considered a important lifting equipment to serve varied purposes of construction, engineering and similar application areas. Their low headroom results in easy installation at confined areas and the exciting features such a a robust Pawl system give immense safety. • Lightweight body • Easy to carry • A double cover protection for the brake chamber plus forged clevis adaptor components makes 2t chain block a reliable option for diverse lifting needs.
