  2. When? • The Revolutionary War startedin1775. • It took place in Lexington Massachusetts.

  3. Who was involved? • Great Britain and the American colonies were involved in the Revolutionary War. • The soldiers were fighting in the war.

  4. What happened? • Tension had been mounting between Great Britain and the American colonies and war broke out. • American colonies were prepared so when they attack.

  5. Why did it happen? • American colonies were taxed from Great Britian. • American colonies did not like that.

  6. Information • If American had not won we would be bossed around. We may still be under British control. • The Revolutionary war was important to the U.S.
