Update on Advisory Council Activities

John Sweeting, AC Chair

Advisory Council

“The Policy Development Process charges the member-elected ARIN Advisory Council (AC) as the primary facilitators of the process”

  • Here today from the AC:

    • Dan Alexander, Vice Chair

    • Kevin Blumberg

    • Andrew Dul

    • David Farmer

    • Scott Leibrand

    • John Springer

    • John Sweeting, AC Chair

  • Number Policy Discussions

    • 4 Recommended Draft Policy

      • The AC already recommended these as good policy, do you agree?

    • 10 Draft Policies

      • The AC worked on the proposals to make them clear and in scope.

      • Will we get consensus on good policy?

        • Must be fair, technically sound and supported by the community.

      • Today’s discussion will help determine what happens with these drafts, ultimately they will advance to Recommended or be Abandoned.

  • After today’s Public Policy Consultation

    • Do you want to continue the discussion of these or other number policy proposals?

    • Anyone who’s interested, see me, John Sweeting, or any other AC members at the end of this session
