  1. Yellow Travel Limited Welcomes Vueling’s Introduction of a New Birmingham Airport to Paris Orly Route Yellow Travel Limited, the top provider of taxis from Birmingham Airport celebrating 22 years in business in the West Midlands in 2017, is delighted to hear confirmation that Vueling, the Spanish airline established in 2004, has launched new flights to Paris Orly airport from our local international hub. From March 2017, the airline, a member of the International Airlines Group (IAG), will commence its much-anticipated new route to Paris’ second airport covering the South of the City of Lights. “We are very happy to add a new route from Birmingham,” commented, Gabriel Schmilovich, Network Planning, Scheduling and Slots Director, Vueling. “This is one of the most popular destinations in Europe at very competitive prices.” “It’s great to see Vueling go from strength to strength here at Birmingham Airport and introducing a range of popular destinations in a relatively short space of time,” noted, Paul Kehoe, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Birmingham Airport. “Paris Orly is located only 13 kilometres from central Paris with excellent transport routes into the city and will certainly be popular with both business travellers and those looking for a city break.” People have already been booking to travel from launch day on Sunday, March 26th, 2017. The service will start off running 4 times per week before increasing to 6 times weekly from June 2017. Flights will be on Airbus A321 planes that can carry up to 220 passengers. Considering that Vueling only commenced operations at Birmingham Airport in May 2015, this is a positive show of confidence in the future of the collaboration between both parties going forward as we prepare to step into a brand new year of aviation milestones in the West Midlands. To think that it was only in May last year that it all began here for the airline with direct flights to Barcelona that proved to be massively popular. So much so that it then quickly following up its winning streak with new flights to Alicante, Tenerife Sur and Malaga. These days, Paris is closer than ever to the West Midlands and we look forward to providing your taxi from Birmingham airport for all of your travel needs for you, your family and workplace in.
