  2. October 16 1940 • OnOctober 16 1940 the Warsaw was established in Warsaw, Poland. • The size of the ghetto was about 25% as big as Warsaw, Poland.

  3. Ghetto Layout • The Warsaw Ghetto had 19 foot walls around the outside of the Ghetto. • There were two parts of the Warsaw Ghetto, a small ghetto which was the side streets and then a big ghetto more towards the middle of the whole ghetto.

  4. Jewish Symbols • All Jewish men and women over the age of 10 were forced to wear a yellow star. • Gay men or women wore a pink triangle.

  5. Deaths • The Holocaust took the lives of 6 million people. • 1.6 million children died, and only 11% of people survived.
