  2. Istoric • Infiintata in 1993, cu sprijinul USAID • Organizeaza programul Executive MBA in parteneriat cu Kennesaw State University, Atlanta- Georgia • Infiinteaza departamentul de formare continua in 1996 • Initiaza si/sau participa in proiecte de cercetare

Tendintele mediului de afaceri • Tehnologia informatiei • Accesul la infomatie intareste gradul de exigenta a consumatorilor si a furnizorilor • Convergenta industriilor • Dispar granitele intre industrii, se scurteaza ciclul de viata al strategiei corporatiilor • Globalizarea • Centrele de productie si distributie sunt raspandite pe intreg globul pentru a castiga avantaje competitive • Regularizarea • Clarificarea cerintelor in vederea asumarii unei responsabilitati crescute

  4. Implicatii pentru manageri • Middle managerii sunt parte a unei matrici de conducere, actionand ca un nod in cadrul unei retele • Middle managerii sunt in centrul actiunii, nu neaparat in centrul ierarhiei • Puterea reala a acestora consta in abilitatea de a lucra cu toate nivelele ierarhice

Cerintele companiilor • Educatia sa fie globala ca si continut si abordare (o mare parte dintre veniturile companiilor se realizeaza pe pietele internationale) • Abordarea interdisciplinara a educatiei manageriale (asa cum necesita orice proiect) • Aplicarea in practica a cunostintelor teoretice (strategii inovatoare de business, solutii creative)

Diferente fata de competitie • 4 Saptamani Rezidentiale, 3 in Romania, una in Atlanta (brandul ASEBUSS) • Componenta internationala (Programul International) – anul II de studiu • Metode de predare interactive, bazate pe studii de caz obtinute prin licenta Harvard Business School • Grupuri de studiu de 6-7 persoane in fiecare serie

Saptamanile Rezidentiale • In afara Bucurestiului, intr-un centru modern de training – 2/an academic • Parte integranta din programul EMBA, subiectele predate fiind complementare disciplinelor din cadrul programului • Cursurile sunt interactive, au la baza simulari, lucrul in echipa si sunt predate de profesori americani • Obiectivele atinse sunt: imbunatatirea comunicarii, networking cu aprox. 80 directori din diferite domenii de activitate, dezvoltarea spiritului de echipa, obtinerea de informatii actualizate despre ultimele tendinte in management

Structura SR • SR Sept 2007 - dedicata team-building-ului, imbunatatirii abilitatilor de prezentare, leadership, networking • SR Mai 2008 – focus pe gandire analitica, negociere, strategie • SR Sept 2008 – start Proiect International, vizita studentilor americani in Romania, colaborarea in echipe mixte romano-americane • SR Aprilie 2009 – vizita studentilor romani in Atlanta

Obiectivele Proiectului International • Obtinerea de cunostinte privind cele mai bune practici de afaceri specifice celor 2 economii – diferente si asemanari • Dezvoltarea abilitatilor decizionale in contextul mediului economic international • Castigarea experientei privind lucrul in echipa, in mod real si virtual • Crearea unei retele de networking internationale • Aplicarea unor tehnologii de ultima ora

Evolutia absolventilor ASEBUSS • 840 absolventi reprezentand aprox. 50% din nr. total al absolventilor programelor MBA si Executive MBA din Romania • 15% au devenit antreprenori in cursul sau dupa absolvirea programului • 4% dintre absolventi lucreaza in companii multinationale, in afara Romaniei • 25% dintre absolventi au avansat in functii de top management
