  1. Key Club General Meeting 10/23/09

  2. Announcements • Fall Rally • Unfortunately, due to the cost and last minuteness of registration, our club will not be able to attend Fall Rally this year. I sincerely apologize to those who were planning on using that to fulfill hours requirements. We still have other events you can sign up for, and that will hopefully help you get those hours. • Summer Hours • Just for Clarification, at our previous meetings, I said members could use only 5 Summer hours for the first hours deadline. I have decided to change that to allowing you to use 15 non KC and unlimited KC hours from any KC events you may have attended over the Summer. Keep in mind this only applies to the FRIST HOURS DEADLINE!

  3. Committees • Like I said in the email I sent out, we still need a great deal of participation in some of our committees. The events they plan are quite large, and require lots of members. Also a reminder that you must be an active member of a committee if you are planning on lettering. • The committee sheets will be put back up on the Bulletin Board for another week for anyone else interested in signing up.

  4. Governors Project • Every year there is a large project created by the District Governor that all the clubs in the district participate in • This Year: Shriner’s Hospital • We will be collecting new Crayons, Coloring Books, and Stuffed Animals. • Drive goes all the way until Spring Convention, so turn in items whenever you need hours • 3 items = 1 KC hour • *Turn in all items to Mrs. Von Ruden’s room (225)

  5. Upcoming Events • *I know many people are still in need of hours esp. after the cancellation of two large events. Please know there are many new events coming up. • *To all those signed up for the Girls Just Want to Have Fun event on Oct. 24th, it has been cancelled, but you may still count it for 2 hours. Please be honest! If you did not sign up, do not count the hours!!!
