  1. AMEDA 11th MeetingBeirut 27 – 30 April, 2010 AMEDA Updates

  2. Previous meeting Decisions Decisions approved by the CSD11 committee Qatar Exchange joined AMEDA Increasing AMEDA annual fees starting year 2010 from $1000 to $2000 AMEDA will support the hosting country by an amount of $10000 per each meeting provided that all members paid on time.

  3. Previous meeting Decisions (CON’T) A new sub committee from South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria was established to investigate regional linking vs. direct linking to the Linkup Markets in the most efficient way. All members decided to have ALF every second year. AMEDA next meeting will be held last week of April 2010 in Lebanon.

  4. Previous meeting Decisions (CON’T) CSCS Nigeria will confirm whether they will host the AMEDA meeting and ALF in November 2011

  5. What Has been Achieved CSD11 Organization Marketing Strategy is finished Sponsorship Sales Strategy Sponsorship Packages Contract signed with Global Conferences Africa (event organizer) Design of corporate identity and branding completed Lebanon, Kuwait, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jordan, Oman & Nigeria contributed to the CSD11 organization

What Has been Achieved (CON’T) CSD11 Organization (Con’t) Regional association representatives appointed for the agenda committee Agenda topic questionnaire circulated to regional associations for input (due back 15 May 2010) CSD11 web site launched in April 2010 CSD Contact Group Meeting on June 4th in Switzerland – presentation on CSD11 and potential agenda topics

  7. What Has been Achieved (CON’T) AMEDA annual fees increased from $1000 to $2000 NASDAQ Dubai, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kenya and BVMAC have not paid 2010 annual fees Strate and MCDR both have joined Linkup Markets Group New proposal by Strate and MCDR for CSDs interlink

What Has been Achieved (CON’T) ISSA questionnaire has been sent to AMEDA members and outcomes of all regions will be discussed in ISSA symposium meeting in Switzerland in 1 – 3 June, 2010 Most AMEDA members replied to the Issuer Services Questionnaire and outcomes will be discussed this meeting (Libya, BVMAC, Israel and Bahrain did not participate) Nigeria to give their reply as in regard to hosting the 2nd ALF
