  10. PROGRESS IN MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY

  11. X-RAYS

  12. X-rays are made in a highly evacuated glass bulb.

  13. The X-ray was discovered in Germany.

  14. The X-ray was first discovered in 1895.

  15. The x-ray was discovered by Wilham Conrad Roentgen.

  16. MRI

  17. The MRI was invented by Dr. Raymond Damadian.

  18. Even dogs can get an MRI scanning.

  19. MRIs differ other imaging techniques.

  20. ECG

  21. An ECG machine works by recording the electrical impulse emitted by the heart.

  22. The biggest part of the ECG machine is the circuity box.

  23. The impulses are recorded in pairs.

  24. Immunisation

  25. Immunisations saves lives.

  26. Immunisation prevents 2-3 million deaths per year.
