  2. The Story It was just a regular morning in Manhattan , New York at the World Trade Center. But it all changed at 8:25am.BOOM! A plane hit the North tower of the World Trade Center. You’re probably thinking who would have done this. Well, all the blames were on Osama Bin Laden. Osama Bin Laden already tried to attack the World Trade Center once. While everyone is panicking another plane hits just an our later, it hit the South tower.

  3. Pentagon Attack Before the attack happened the people in the pentagon already had a hint. You know what that hint was they may get attacked . They thought of this because they had heard that the towers had been attacked because of the hijackers. BOOM! The plane just hit the pentagon.

  4. Plan for Attacks The idea for the attacks came from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who first presented it to Osama bin Laden in 1996. At that time, Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda were in a period of transition, having just relocated back to Afghanistan from Sudan. The 1998 Africa Embassy bombings and Bin Laden's 1998 marked a turning point, as bin Laden became intent on attacking the United States. In December 1998, the CIA's Counter Terrorist Center reported to President Bush that Al-Qaeda was preparing for attacks in the U.S. that will include hijacking aircraft.

  6. September 12, 2001 After the big attack there was still this big mess. And for the worst part there were bodies still under the rubble. The paramedic teams , firefighters , and police all pitched in to clean the mess. It was going to take a lot of time to pick up all the mess and even harder to find bodies because some could still be alive. They found a man about 2 hours after they were searching he was still alive the paramedic team helped get him to a hospital to find any injuries.

  10. Additional Info • Bin Laden, who orchestrated the attacks, initially denied but later admitted involvement. Al Jazzierbroadcast a statement by bin Laden on September 16, 2001, stating, "I stress that I have not carried out this act, which appears to have been carried out by individuals with their own motivation."[In November 2001, U.S. forces recovered a videotape from a destroyed house in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. In the tape, bin Laden is seen talking to Khalid al-Harbi and admits foreknowledge of the attacks.[On December 27, 2001, a second bin Laden video was released. In the video, he states, "Terrorism against America deserves to be praised because it was a response to injustice, aimed at forcing America to stop its support for Israel, which kills our people", but he stopped short of admitting responsibility for the attacks.
