  1. Marvelous Wolves By : Mason And Bryson

  2. This story is dedicated to: • My mother, father, brother and sisters –Bryson • Mom, Dad, Molson -Mason • Wolves -both

  3. Wolves are dogs. They have pointy ears and are furry. They can be gray, white, black, and tan. Male wolves can be up to 66-180lbs. Females are smaller. Wolves are 3-5 feet long. Each wolf has its own howl. The Alfa is the boss. Our opinion is wolves are cute.

  4. What do you call a lost wolf? (see last page) Wolves live in different climates. Around a wolves territory, it is snowy, muddy, and dry. Wolves will have other animals in their environment that they can hunt like moose, deer, caribou, elk, rabbits, and bison. They migrate along trails and travel up to 200 miles a day.

  5. Wolves are at the top of the food chain. They have no predators other than humans. They will hunt for food or they will scavenge. Scavenging is eating animals that are already dead. They will travel very far to hunt. Wolves work together to hunt.

  6. Here is a close up on canine teeth Wolves have many adaptations to help them survive. They live in family packs to help each other. They have fur to keep warm and dry. They are sneaky and determined. They have claws and sharp canine teeth. They howl to warn others and to attack.

  7. Wolf pups eyes open when they are two weeks old and new born pups can’t warm themselves. Pups play with bones and wrestle with each other. They live to be 5 to 6 years old in the wild. They are mammals, so they are born alive and drink mother’s milk.

  8. Wolves are Fast, strong, sneaky, brave, fierce and loving. They are smart, too! They need to have all of these character traits to survive. If they were not fierce, they would not get food for their family, who they love.

  9. We are like wolves because we can be sneaky and brave. We love our families too. We are fast too, but not as fast as wolves!

  10. We contrast to wolves because we aren’t furry, we don’t have claws or large canine teeth. We don’t need to be fierce because mom just goes to the store.

  11. Meet the Authors! What do you call a lost wolf? -A “where” wolf I’m Mason and I’m 8 years old. I live in Newfane. I like to skateboard and play video games. I like wolves because they’re vicious and cute. I hope you enjoyed our book! I’m Bryson and I’m 8 also. I live in Newfane, and I like to play video games, too. I also like to ride my bike. I picked wolves because they are fierce and brave.
