Workshop objectives • Role and nature of the evaluation – to gather evidence on the link between aid effectiveness and development results • Review of methodology and core evaluation questions • Dialogue on the ToR and scope for adaptation • Clarification on the process – structures, implementation and timing

Main findings • Highly interactive – resulting in a conducive environment for learning and for future peer exchange • Opportunity to provide comments and obtain clarification on the scope of work, methodology, core questions • Each country can now feel confident in leading an exercise relevant to its own needs and contributing to a consistent and high-quality global study • Useful validation for the Core Team • Some countries indicated readiness to move to the next stage (establishing country reference group etc)
