Television • History may influence a child’s predisposition towards violence. • Depression magnifies increased suicidal actions. • Teachers depression rates are as high or higher than those of firefighters and police officers. • Screening can predict children negative reactions to medications, reactions that can lead to anti-social and violent behavior. • Parents of children are more depressed than their parents were, and depressed parents tend to pay more attention to their child negative behaviors and less to their positive behaviors.

  3. Cell Phones • Kathleen wynne declared that students should not be allowed to use their phones in class, his first reaction is incredulous • Parents also need to get on the case. Cell phones • The centers for Disease control, cell phones accidents are now the leading cause of death. • The death of woman under the age of 35. • Text message was also indentified as causing of two recent public transit disasters. • A train crash in Los Angeles that killed 25 people. • A 24 year old subway operator in Boston admitting he had been texting his girlfriend when he rammed his train into one of ahead of him injuring almost 50 people.
