Science, ICT and G&T! • 3 or 4 children from the G&T register selected to participate from each school • Introductory day to launch the project. • Children meet weekly to gather data and upload information • Staff receive training! • Mid term schools Flash meeting 10th June 12.30 • Staff consider measures for impact on children’s learning • Celebration day 15th July to share results

  11. Developing Knowledge

  12. Flashmeeting • “Video conferencing was an exciting new experience for the children (and the teachers!). It gave our able children a great opportunity to interact with the other pupils to share data, and develop their communication skills”. Melanie Sharpe HLTA

  13. The video conference George: “That was great – I really enjoyed it, and it was fun seeing all the other groups there at the same time. And meeting up this way, we have saved energy and haven’t made lots of waste carbon dioxide”

  15. Comments We have liked doing the pond project because: George: It involves ICT and Science Sam: it involves working with other people and looking at creatures. Maddy: I liked it because we got to find out about the blue Damsel Flies
