  1. Use pgs. 167 and 192 in your Ancient World book to create your map! There are also 4 task cards around the room that you need to find and complete! Label in Black Sharpie: Greece, Macedonia, Crete, Peloponnesus and Asia Minor Label in Black Sharpie and color blue:Aegean Sea, Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea Label in green and use a to label it’s location: Mt. Olympus Use a dot and label each city in Red: Troy, Delphi, Marathon, Mycenae, Athens, Sparta, Olympia and Knossos Color in yellow all of the mountainous areas 6. Add the following to your map: compass rose, sources, author, date and a key (to represent cities, mountains, colors) Greek Map Activity

Greek Geography Warm-up • Discuss and answer the following questions into your Notebook: • What 2 natural features make up most of Greece? • What problems could be caused by the answer to number 1? • Why did the Greeks leave their homeland to settle in other places? • What geographical similarities do you see between Japan and Greece? What did these similarities cause?
