  1. Comparison to the lorax KieraBarry

  2. The lorax • I believe that the moral of the story “The Lorax”, was about how people ignore the feelings and safety of others around them when they are making a profit. Like, when the Once-ler started making a huge profit from his product he began a rampage to make more which harmed all of the animals and nature. • The Lorax warned him, but he denied the warnings. This message was only processed by the Once-ler when he had no more trees to make his product. The Once-ler was astounded at what he had actually done. • This is what many big companies do, they steal from the world until there is no more left and then forget about the harm they have created, they then ignore the problem and bury themselves in their profit.

  3. A comparison to the Lorax • To me the Joe fresh tragedy in Bangladesh is like the lorax. • Galen Weston(Founder) & Ron Johnson(CEO) are like the once-ler’ because he runs and supports a dangerous company that is harmful to our planet and people. • The trees are like the people who died in the Bangladesh misshape because they were treated like items not people, left to work for small wages in polluted work spaces. Just like the trees were treated like nothing, just a profit to be made. • The factory in Bangladesh that fell apart has killed almost 1127 people, also polluting the air around it, leaving piles of rubbish. Just like how the Once-lers killed all of the trees and whose factory polluted the air. • The lorax was like the police ordering the factories to be evacuated that day but the factory managers ignored their warnings and put everyones life in danger.
