  2. “By the ringing hoofs” What can compare with the beauty of a galloping horse?.. Tall, handsome, with noble lines and harmonious movements, responsive to affection, intelligent, able to assimilate complex exercise - a lot of different adjectives can be attached to the words "riding horse", "sport horse."

  3. People quickly realized how useful the horse could be in war. The horse was such an effective weapon that empires from Egypt to Mexico crumbled before the mounted enemies. It is the ordinary workhorse, however, that may have had the biggest impact on human history.

  4. Breeds One of themost valuablespeciesis Trotters. They have qualities which are needed for work in light harness, namely agility and high traction power. In horses of the Trotter breed harmonious build is well combined with a big height and high agility. Races at hippodromes enjoy great popularity.

  5. For sportsmenare very importantriding horses. They were developed as a result of the intensive breeding. They are perfect in agility and other sporting qualities, beautiful lines and actions. It is not by chance that sportsmen select horses of these breeds for the performances at major events including the Olympic Games.

  6. And also Pony is a very interesting kind of horse. Ponies are peculiar miniature horses, but they have all biological properties inherent to the common horse. There are up to 30 breeds of ponies in the world. They’re economical in keeping and very adaptable to various geographical zones.

  7. The equestrian sport Equestrian sports appeared in the far away ancient times. Horse races were popular in ancient Greece and they are no less popular now. Olympic Games include now dressage, riding competitions and three day event.

  8. Sport means health Horse riding is a pleasant pastime. For the urban dweller riding is one of the ways to relieve stress and tiredness, completely disconnected from everyday problems, as well as improve your fitness.
