  2. Action Plan concerning EC-China Customs Cooperation on IPR • Action Plan signed in Brussels, 30 January 2009. • Dedicated Plan - border enforcement of IPR. • Political priority towards combating tradein counterfeit and piracy. Shanghai Expo - Customs Conference

  3. Key Action 1 • Systematic exchange and analysis of seizures, trends and general risk information. • Providing risk indicators for targeting of consignments in the EU and China. Shanghai Expo - Customs Conference

  4. Key Action 2 • Creation of a network of customs in key ports and airports to target high risk consignments. • Improving the targeting and control of high risk consignments. • Commitment to provide feedback on use of information. Shanghai Expo - Customs Conference

  5. Key Action 3 • Exchange of practices on means of providing seizure information to assist other administrations in stopping production and winding up distribution networks. • Border enforcement alone is not sufficient to combat trade in counterfeit and pirated goods.   6. Key Action 4 • Joint development of partnerships with the business communities in the EU and China. • Initiatives to strengthen public-private sector cooperation. Shanghai Expo - Customs Conference
