  4. Mr. Charvat- continued • Hobbies- Sports, computers, vacations, music, television, and family. • This year I teach Spanish 2, Spanish 4, and Spanish 5! • I am a member of the Technology Committee at SHS • I am also a graduate of Schaumburg High School- don’t ask what year!

  7. Is there homework in Spanish? • Do birds fly? • Of course there is! Usually there is homework every night! On average 10-15 minutes a night. • Homework is usually worksheets or workbook pages, but can also take the form of essays, video creation, or computer projects.

  9. GRADING POLICY The Quarter Grade is Divided into three equal categories- each category is worth one-third of the quarter grade. • Quizzes- one every week • Orals- daily- includes everything except for quizzes and tests • Tests- one every 2-4 weeks

  10. Each student will be given a 50 point daily homework grade each quarter. This grade is posted at the end of the quarter! If your son or daughter has missed three assignments by midterm it will be indicated on their midterm report. Grading- continued
