  2. Methodology Current Process: • ERCOT sends message to multiple mail lists, including working group lists in attempt to cover desired audience. Desired Process: • ERCOT sends message to specific e-mail list designed for distribution of such message. Market Participants self- signup for the list, determining who should receive the message.

  3. Goals Primary: • Allow for self-signup of Market Participants to appropriate mail groups • Allow for efficiently sending messages to targeted audience • Cease using Working Group list for notice distribution Secondary: • Reduce number of duplicate e-mails

  4. Description of Lists • General – Market Notices of a general nature intended for distribution to the ERCOT Market, but not applicable to any other specific mailing list. • System Outages/Releases – Wholesale – Market Notices concerning system outages or upgrade releases that affect Wholesale Market functions. • System Outages/Releases – Retail - Market Notices concerning system outages or upgrade releases that affect Retail Market functions. • Retail Processing – Notices concerning the processing of retail transactions. • Extracts - Wholesale – Notices of interest to any Wholesale parties utilizing Data Extracts and reports. • Extracts -Retail – Notices of interest to any Retail parties utilizing Data Extracts and reports. • Legal Notification – Notices to the ERCOT Market of a general legal nature • TCR – Notices concerning Transmission Congestion Rights.

Description of Lists • PRR/SCR – Notices of implementation or details of Protocol Revision Requests or System Change Requests. • Settlements – Public – Notices concerning the Wholesale Settlements issued by ERCOT that are public in nature. • RMR – Notices concerning Reliability Must Run contracts, units and deployments. • Contracts/RFPs/RFIs – Notices of Contracts, Requests for Proposal and Requests for Information that are issued by ERCOT. • Operations Notices – Notices of interest to personnel concerned with power operations. • Market and Power Operations Bulletins– Distribution list for Market Operations Bulletins and Power Operations Bulletins. • Testing – Distribution list for information regarding Market Participant testing. • Training – Distribution list for notices of ERCOT provided training events.

  6. Next Steps • ERCOT is establishing distribution list set-up. • Notice will be provided when new lists are available for Market Participant sign-up. • Date will be established when new lists will be used. • Concurrent distributions will be used for a pre-determined timeframe.
