ROS Recommended Voting Items • PGRR036 – Planning Market Data Transparency • ROS Motion to Approve per PLWG: Passed Unanimously • PGRR038 – Require ERCOT to Report Circuits Loaded Above 95% of Their Facility Rating • ROS motion to approve per PLWG option 1: passed with 1opposition vote and 3 abstentions • Option 1: Report at 95% • Option2: Report at XX% (ERCOT and RPG to determine % annually) • Option 3: No change July 31, 2014 TAC Meeting

TAC Update - ROS Action Items • Operations Training Working Group (OTWG) • Kelley Blackmer (ERCOT) presented need for WG to better coordinate current training and seminar activities across and between several different MP’s. • OTWG would be responsible for: • Address requirements in NERC PER-005-2 and ERCOT Nodal Protocols and Operating Guides • Coordinate Annual ERCOT Operations Training Seminar, Annual Black Start Training, Severe Weather Drills, & ERCOT Fundamentals updates • ROS voted to have Kelley bring back a Working Group Charter for review and further consideration June 26, 2014 TAC Meeting

TAC Update - ROS Action Items • Review of Constrained Generation Resources • ROS unanimously approved PLWG to develop PGRR criteria language for ROS consideration to address generation deliverability over peaks periods • SCR781 - MP Online Data Entry • ROS unanimously approved submitting SCR781 language as proposed by RDWG June 26, 2014 TAC Meeting

  6. Status of Assignments • Review of ERCOT planning reports and processes • PLWG will draft a white paper describing the differences between the CDR and the Planning Models and why they exist.  This paper will include, but not be limited to, reviewing generation assumptions, load forecast assumptions, and data sources and availability. • Status: Progress underway • In addition, PLWG will review load scaling methodologies used in Planning Models and make a recommendation to ROS on appropriateness of methodologies. • Status: Progress underway July 31, 2014 TAC Meeting

  7. Status of Assignments • Coordinate with ERCOT the need to add (verify) resource temperature limits in RARF to improve forecasting of Wind Resources during icing and cold weather events • ERCOT’s forecast vendor is proposing to improve the wind forecast by including cold temperature trips. • Status: Two part effort: WMS/QMWG reviewing improvement opportunities; ROS/RDWG will address any changes needed in RARF to support improvements July 31, 2014 TAC Meeting

  8. Status of Assignments • Evaluate concerns that ERCOT is having to bring RUC units earlier than required because of unit start-up failures; review need for ERCOT Operating procedures for RUCing units. • Status: Two-part effort: WMS formed RUC Task Force to evaluate issues surrounding early RUCing of units; ROS working with ERCOT to review unit failures/trips/de-rates occurring during extreme cold weather events July 31, 2014 TAC Meeting
