Friday: ENJOY THE WEEKEND! Sight Words high every near add food between own below country plant Spelling Words Students will be tested on Friday and will have to write each word correctly. 1. jelly 2. belly 3. bunny 4. funny 5. furry 6. hurry 7. take 8. came 9. world 10. over FACT TESTS: For the rest of the year we will do doubles and then mixed up facts each week. Please review all the facts from 1 to 9. There will be another fact check in May. I am VERY happy to announce that 18 out of 20 mastered the test this time! Jan. 25- Early Release Day Jan. 27- MES Spirit Day Feb. 7- Progress Reports Feb. 10- AR Jeans Day (100 pts earned) Relay for Life Parent Night out 6-10pm Feb. 16- Book Fair Feb. 17-20- HOLIDAYS Feb. 23- 2nd grade PTO Feb. 24- MES Spirit Day Feb. 28- Group picutres (uniform day) March 7- Early release Day Our Story this week: At Home Around the World Vocabulary Words different – not the same old – opposite of new water – something to swim in; liquid years – periods of time 365 days or 12 months long above – in a higher place; farther up hold – to grasp warm – not too hot Lunch Menu Monday- Fish Nuggets Tuesday- Beef Cheese Nachos Wednesday- Ham & Cheese Sub.
