  2. People are always looking for the name of the artist who sings their favourite song or the name of the song sung by their favourite artist. They also want to know what album the song was on and what year the song was in print and who the lead singer was and who did the original version.

Queen Queen were an English rock band formed in 1970 in London by guitarist Brian May, lead vocalist Freddie Mercury, and drummer Roger Taylor, with bassist John Deacon completing the lineup the following year. The band were noted for their musical diversity, multi-layered arrangements, vocal harmonies, and incorporation of audience participation into their live performances. Their 1985 Live Aid performance was voted the best live rock performance of all time in an industry poll.

  4. The Beatles The Beatles were a rock and pop band from Liverpool, England that formed in 1960. During their career, the group primarily consisted of John Lennon (rhythm guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass guitar, vocals), George Harrison (lead guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals). Their clothes, style and statements made them trend-setters, while their growing social awareness saw their influence extend into the social and cultural revolutions of the 1960s. After the band broke up in 1970, all four members embarked upon successful solo careers.

He has gained a number of honours, including three Grammy Awards and so one . Several of his songs, notably "The Music of the Night" from The Phantom of the Opera, "I Don't Know How to Love Him" from Jesus Christ Superstar, "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina" from Evita, and "Memory" from “Cats” have been widely recorded and were hits outside of their parent musicals. His company, the Really Useful Group, is one of the largest theatre operators in London.

  7. Ozzy Osbourne John Michael "Ozzy“ Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer-songwriter, whose career has now spanned four decades. Osbourne rose to prominence as lead vocalist of pioneering British heavy metal band Black Sabbath, and eventually achieved a multi-platinum solo career which revolutionized the heavy metal genre.

George Michael GeorgiosKyriacosPanayiotou (born 25 June 1963), best known as George Michael, is a two-time Grammy Award winning, English singer-songwriter, who has had a career as frontman of the duo Wham! According to britishhitsongwriters.com he is the fortieth most successful songwriter in U.K. singles chart history.

  9. U2 U2 are a rock band formed in Dublin, Ireland. The band consists of Bono(vocals and guitar), The Edge(guitar, keyboards, and vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar), and Larry Mullen, Jr. (drums and percussion).The band formed in 1976 when the members were teenagers with limited musical proficiency. By the mid-1980s, the band had become a top international act.

  10. Placebo Placebo are an alternative rock band formed in London in 1994, currently consisting of Brian Molko, Stefan Olsdal and Steve Forrest. To date, they have released six studio albums, six EPs and twenty-seven singles. The band have gained a considerable amount of international recognition. They have sold over one million albums in the UK and over ten million worldwide.

  11. As we know music takes an important place in our life. It can be heard everywhere: at home, in the car, at our working place. Everybody likes music, some people just listen to the radio, others prefer records. All people are different, so the tastes also differ.
