commons Definition: A commons is a piece of land that is shared by the whole town. Sentence: Our commons is used for many different events throughout the year.
forest Definition: A forest is a large area with many trees. Sentence: There are more than fifteen kinds of trees in our forest.
fossil fuel Definition: A fossil fuel is a source of energy found in the earth. Coal, oil, and natural gas are fossil fuels. Sentence: Gas is a fossil fuel that is used for cooking, heating and running cars.
natural resource Definition: A resource is something people use. A natural resource comes from the earth. Sentence: Water is an important natural resource.
sustain Definition: When you sustain something, you keep it going. Sentence: We can sustain the forest by planting new trees.
village Definition: A village is a small community. Sentence: Anna knows the name of every person who lives in her village.
