Bioinformatics Laboratory (AMC)Medical bioinformatics & e-BioscienceAntoine van Kampen Scope: Research, Education, AMC Support Focus areas: Systems Genomics (biological pathways), e-Science Microarrays, Next Generation Sequencing, Metabolomics (LC-MS), Immunology Portfolio of projects: Many / heterogeneous (see also slide Silvia Olabarriaga) Exome sequencing, Network alignment (NBIC), T/B cell analysis, Flux Balance Analysis (NCSB), Prior biological knowledge, Petri Nets/SA (NBIC), e-Science (Commit, FP7) Group size: ~18 fte (3 staff members, 5PhD students, PDs, support) National and European connections: NBIC, NCSB, NMC, Commit, FP7 consortia; Future plans: Increase focus on Systems Genomics and Immunology Tighter integration of e-Science and Bioinformatics Funding!
