Main Components of Structure • Advisory Group – Ideas and Support from various Stakeholders • Expert/Specialized Committee – Experts appointed to audit & advise on methods and standard for improvement of Specific Dataset • Task Force – Technical Experts to work together (Work Plan, Time Frame and Budget) on Specific Dataset

  7. Sharing • Selling to Giving • Now Focus Quality Improvement and Sharing • Have to assure Custodians – it is sharing, not duplicating. • “Sharing may help improve data” • Quality & Version Control • MOUs and Agreements

  8. Next… • Selection/Nomination for Advisory Group • Workshops/Consultations • Training/Workshop Room • with 10 Computers for Technical Training or Demonstration • Working area • Meeting Room • Official Data Viewer Online

Reality Check… • We have all thought of this, Will it work • Not easy…but..possible • This year, after the first FLIC meeting for the first time in History we have formed Sharing partnerships… starting with give and take and agreeing to improve – Lands, Agriculture, Forestry, Bureau of Census, Health, Mineral, Provincial Development, iTaukei Land Commission, Fiji Pine, Fiji Hardwood, FEA, Telecom, WAF, SCC, National Trust…. We have also been collaborated with agencies to collect/verify data such as Informal Settlements.
