Requirements for AV Transmission

  • Bandwidth requirement

    • HD:24mbps x 1ch (unicast)

    • SD: 7mbps x 3ch (unicast)

  • Guarantee of quality for AV stream

    • AV streams for interactive applications require very short delay

    • Enable AV delivery to be registered with HC

    • Longer term uninterrupted bandwidth allocation for AV delivery

  • To avoid denial of service to other high priority non AV data
