  2. Aim: Share a common understanding on • Why a clear picture of sector VET provisions is needed? • How this picture facilitates the design of sector VET strategies? • Which types of information and data are needed?

  3. A clear picture of the sector VET programs: A key “management tool” (not an “administrative” reporting !)

  4. Providing a good picture on VET provisions: • Not just a “communication issue” • The basis of sound decision making • The condition of Quality managment

  5. VET stakeholders questions? Did the Learners found jobs ? Distribution by counties? What is behind the Program title? Mobility ? Pathways? Program Portfolio by sub-sectors? Performances of your program? Differences with other programs?

  6. . • Most of the questions are (relatively) easy to answer • Few others more difficult

  7. . The method: A sector overview framework on VET provision • Easy to fill in • Few well selected indicators • Providing key description • Sufficient to assess the key strengths & weaknesses of individual programs and sector portfolio

  8. . The main need is to agree on a common method for providing key information • Well selected indicators • Clear data collection procedures Aim: a picture of the VET provison easy to draw, meaningful based on sustainable data collection procedures
