  2. Das Oktoberfestin München ist das größte Volksfest derWelt. Esfindetseit 1810 aufderTheresienwiese in der bayerischenLandeshauptstadt München statt und wirdJahrfürJahr von rundsechsMillionenMenschenbesucht, imJahr 2011 zog das Oktoberfest fast siebenMillionenBesucher an.FürdasOktoberfestbrauendieMünchnerBrauereien einspeziellesBiermitmehr Stammwürze und damitauchmithöherem Alkoholgehalt (rund 6–7 %).

  3. Das erste Oktoberfest fand am 17.10.1810 statt. ZurHochzeit von Kronprinz Ludwig und PrinzessinThereseam 12. Oktober 1810 veranstaltetederBankierundMajorAndreasMichaelDall’ArmiaufeinerWiesevordenStadtmauernMünchenseingroßesPferderennen. SeitdemheißtdasGeländeTheresienwiese.

  4. Auf dem Oktoberfest gibteseinRiesenrad, eineKrinoline (eintraditionellesRundkarussell), und vieleanderenSchaustellerbetriebe.

  5. Das Oktoberfest beginntmitdemEinzugderWiesnwirte.NachdemEinzugderWiesn-Wirte auf Kutschen von derInnenstadtzurFestwiese sticht um Punkt 12:00 UhrderOberbürgermeisterimSchottenhamel-Festzelt das ersteBierfass an. Während des Oktoberfesteswirdsehrviel Bier und Fleischkonsumiert.
