DRR Convergence Workshop • Objectives : • Introduction of the HFA concept and the “Making Aceh Safer Through Disaster • Risk Reduction in Development” (DRR-A) project. • Identification and categorizing within in the HFA framework of all DRR • programmes and activities of each Donor, Governmental Organisation or • Agency, INGO/NGO, CSOs, CBOs, UN Agencies, Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Private Sector, Universities and community • Collecting information to facilitate coordination of DRR initiatives. • Using this information to develop an openly available electronic tool (geographic and programmatic database) to facilitate the analyses of DRR gaps and needs in Aceh. • Using this information and database as the basis for the development of a • Local Action Plan on Disaster Risk Reduction (LAP-DRR) for Aceh. • Gaining commitment from all stakeholders and participants to better coordinate DRR programme implementation and development of DRR strategies through sharing information through regular updating
