Cannons • The Tudors would use rope to prevent the cannon recoiling. • Gun crew would be ready to make there mark at any time because cannons were unpredictable and would blow in their faces. • A cannon would EXPLODE if it got to hot so they would poor water over it. • A light would be applied in the touch hole to ignite the gunpowder.

  4. Armada It is told the armada started because Elizabeth encouraged her sea dogs to attack Spanish ships so king Phillip II of Spain got angry and fought back she was also helping Dutch protestant rebels who were fighting against Spain.

  5. Main focus The Tudors were venerable in close combat, but their main focus was to shoot a rail of arrows at there enemy.

  6. How Henry brought peace England and France often fought each other to decide who would rule France however in 1520 HenryVIII made peace between the countries.
