What is Mystery Skype? • Mystery Skype is a global classroom learning experience in which two teachers schedule a video conference for their students.   • The conferencing classes can be in different cities, states, or even countries.   • This activity is suitable for all grade levels and students at Furr Elementary are loving this 21st Century Classroom Experience!

Preparing the Lesson • Skype Account • Login to https://education.skype.com/ and create a lesson plan • Decide on the level of questioning you will use with your students (open-ended, scripted, yes/no) • Flexibility – you are scheduling meeting times with teachers across the country so be prepared for time changes • Job Assignments - assign jobs based on student ability

  4. Day of the Mystery Skype • You will need: • US Maps & State Map (only to be distributed AFTER students guess correctly) • Camera (digital or video or both) • Laptops or iPads • Jobs Assigned
