Objectives

The students will be able to

  • research the origin of the names hurricane, tornado, typhoon.

  • research the meteorological causes of hurricanes, tornadoes, or typhoons.

  • map the weather patterns of a hurricane, tornado or typhoon.

  • present the effects of a hurricane, tornado, or typhoon on populations and on the land in a multimedia format to club members and advisors.
