  4. 6th Grade (gold team) 7th Grade (green team) 8th Grade (purple team) On time to lunch Courteous to cafeteria staff Low to moderate noise level Area cleaned before dismissal Lunch Time Competition

  5. Lunch Time Competition • Each shift is judged by the cafeteria staff, custodial staff, and the designated person in charge. • Examples of rewards include watching movies, listening to music, participating in karaoke or dance competitions and much more

  6. Monthly and Quarterly Rewards/Incentives • Monthly Assemblies centered around a theme (Native American History, Multicultural Education, Black History, Music Appreciation) • Quarterly Trips (Skating, Bowling, Sports Center)

  7. After school Detention/Academic Resource Center (ARC) • To assist our students with changing negative behaviors into positive behaviors, several interventions have been put into place. • After School Detention • ARC

  8. Emerging Ladies Program • Identify a group of young ladies that would benefit from this program • Equip the young ladies with the social skills to be successful • This program is facilitated by OCMS staff members, members of the Baltimore County Police Department and Baltimore County Department of Juvenile Services.
