  2. Rule One: Capitalizing Names People: Miss Lusebrink, Harry Potter, Ron, and Voldermort. Places:Roton Middle School, and Norwalk, Connecticut. Groups:The Beatles, Black Eyed Peas, and Department of Mysteries.

  3. Rule One: Capitalizing Names Months:September, May, and June. Days:Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Holidays:Halloween, President’s Day, and Mother’s Day.

  4. Rule Two: Titles of People • Titles are used before names: • President Obama • Mr. Vellucci • Mayor Moccia • The Dark Lord Voldermort

  5. Rule Three: First Word in Dialogue Dialogue: In a text, dialogue shows when someone is speaking. “ Rule number two: You will not bother me while I'm working. Rule number three: You will not cry, or whine, or laugh, or giggle, or sneeze or barf or fart! So no, no, no annoying sounds. All right?” - Gru
